What is the Independence Project?
The Independence Project, a credit building program of The National Network To End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), was established in partnership with Verizon and with seed funding from Thirty-One Gifts.
Through the Independence Project, advocates and local domestic violence programs across the nation can support survivors of domestic violence in improving their credit scores through micro-lending.
Loan Qualifications:

Be a survivor of domestic violence

Meet with a domestic violence advocate 3 times
Our Case Manager works with clients to assist them with this loan process.
CUT IT OUT® The Beauty Community Against Domestic Abuse is a program dedicated to mobilizing salon / spa professionals, students and others to fight the epidemic of domestic abuse in communities across the United States. CUT IT OUT® builds awareness of domestic abuse through awareness materials to be displayed in salons, the “Give the Power Back” initiative to involve salons in helping local domestic violence agencies, and training salon / spa professionals and students to recognize warning signs and safely refer clients to resources.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's (AACDCF) Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program heals some of the most devastating effects of domestic and sexual violence, by restoring the smiles of adult women and men who have suffered dental injuries from a former intimate partner or spouse, family member or due to sexual assault.
