Assisting Survivors Through Information

One form of assistance our advocates offer clients is information. Educating and empowering a survivor to make their own choices and set their own goals is a key component of our mission to get them into a life free of abuse. Attached to this blog is a renting and saving guide our Resource Advocate created to share with survivors. We also offer the S.H.E. (Serene Harbor Empowerment) Housing Grant to qualified applicants that provides money for deposits and other costs of moving into their own place.
